The topic of Topos 100 is – TIME. Landscapes and cities may be viewed as so many layers of time, superimposed on each other, or existing side by side. Historical structures meet with pop-up stores, new architecture follows plans laid down centuries ago. The articles of Topos 100 reflect upon time as a crucial factor for building and planning the environment of yesterday and tomorrow. 

Very special: We spoke with former US Vice President Al Gore, who has committed his life to raising awareness of the impacts of climate change. We explore how man-made global warming sets a new pace to cities, forcing them to build vast infrastructures against torrential rains and storm events like Hurricane Irma.
